Bushmills Black Bush

Bushmills Black Bush Irish Whiskey combines a high amount of malt whiskey matured in former Oloroso Sherry casks, with a sweet, batch-distilled grain whiskey. It has rich, fruity notes and a deep intense character, balanced by an incredibly unique smoothness.

The nose opens up with whiffs of barley, grapes and lemons. The palate is filled with fruits, creamy almost milky with sherry cask notes. The finish is warming and sweet, with a rounded biscuit edge.

The history of Bushmills Irish Whiskey dates back to 1784, when Mr Hugh Anderson formally registered “The Old Bushmills Distillery” in County Antrim, Ireland. The copper potstill became the distilleries registered trademark and remains so to this day.

Through the years of prohibition, booms, world wars, distillery fires and lows, Bushmills has made it through, and always stuck soundly to its original recipes, crafting exceptional blended and single malt Irish Whiskies to this day.
